This service is for Homer Township Public Library District Residents who are temporarily or permanently confined to their homes. Citizens can request specific categories and/or titles of books, magazines and videos. The library staff will be happy to gather your selections.  Even library memberships can be obtained through the V.I.P. service.

Homer Township has a limited selection of gently used medical equipment (walker, cane, shower seat, etc...) for temporary, no-cost loan to Homer Township residents.
Please call the office at 708-301-0522 to see if any items are available to assist your recovery.

1.) You must be 60 or older and present proof of age with your birth date listed (drivers license, I.D. card, or birth certificate)
2.) Fill out the application form
3.) Pay $5.00 Processing Fee

Info You Should Know

The Dial-A-Ride program is not a free ride program.
The Dial-A-Ride program is not a door to door program.
The Dial-A-Ride program has boundary limits.
The bus will only take you to points within the City of Joliet, Joliet Township, Plainfield Township, Lockport Township, Troy Township, and Homer Township.
