Temporary Handicap Parking Placard
Come in and pick up a form or print it from the below link. Take the form to your physician's office.
Your doctor must fill out the application detailing the nature of the temporary condition.
Please complete your portion then return the form to the
Township Admin Office to receive your (90 day) temporary
Persons with Disabilities Certification for Parking Placard Application
Permanent placards are issued only by the IL Secretary of State.
Homer Township Public Library District offers
V.I.P. Homebound Delivery Service
This service is for Homer Township Public Library District
Residents who are temporarily or permanently
confined to their homes. Citizens can request specific
categories and/or titles of books, magazines and
videos. Their staff will be happy to gather your
selections. Even library memberships can be
obtained through the V.I.P. service.

The Township has a limited selection of medical equipment
(walker, cane, shower seat, wheel chair, transfer seat, etc...)
that can be borrowed at no cost to residents of Homer Township.
Please call the administrative office at (708) 301-0522 to see if any of these items may be
available to assist in your recovery.
We accept gently used medical equipment for this purpose.
